WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO (IT’S IMPORTANT)
For most of the last twenty years, the profits from Nature’s Own, and the efforts from our staff and management have provided significant financial assistance to the following organizations:
Idea Wild works to minimize the loss of biodiversity by empowering people on the frontlines of conservation. The Fort Collins-based organization works to conserve biodiversity by providing biologists and educators working in developing countries with equipment and support. www.ideawild.org
Global Greengrants works to strengthen the grassroots environmental movement in developing regions by making small grants to groups striving for environmental sustainability. Nature’s Own was instrumental in founding Greengrants and continues to provide substantial support. The Boulder-based organization has provided more than 3,000 grants in 120 different countries. www.greengrants.org
